How to draw Rakshabandhan drawing

A festival to express the pure bond between a brother and sister

Step 1:

Let’s start with a parallel line and extend the lines with v shape for hand wrist.

Step 2:

For fingers draw 4 small parallel lines and end with small perpendicular curve line.

Step 3:

Let’s start to draw the sister hand as tying rakhi to brother hand so for that draw a parallel lines for hands opposite to the brother hand drawn as shown in above picture and same procedure for fingers.

Step 4 :

Here will draw the other hand in the same pattern as we drawn the other hand and only changes in the fingers position as shown in above picture.

  

Step 5:

Final step is shading for that I used blending stump you can use either blending stump /ear buds whichever you feel comfortable. Just do pencil shade wherever the darker shade required and then use blending stump to smudge it. Also I used a red sketch for the raki and mehendi hand design for sister’s hand.
