    Everyone in this universe have some unique talents you won’t be expert in it unless you practice. So I am here to help you out by sharing my few ideas and techniques to improve your drawing skills either you are a beginner or you have been learning and frustrated by your progress. Practice makes man perfect so everything comes only when you involve and try once or twice without giving up; never ever give up unless you achieve your goals.

I will be explaining in detail about each technique I use in my pencil drawing.

Keys to remember for sketching:

1.Rough lines:

    When you start your drawing don’t go directly to make perfect drawing instead make a rough outline of the figure you are going to make so that it will be easier for you to get the perfect figure and you can correct you mistakes In initial stage itself so start with free flowing rough lines and the lines should be smooth and light don’t draw with pressure so that it will be easier for you to erase easily later after completing the full picture.

2.Pencil grip :

     Pencil holding is more important for every drawing it’s very different from writing so you have to adjust your grip on the pencil, your hand should be relaxed and  don’t hold it too tightly hold it firm and you can be able to move any direction you need. 

3. General shapes:

It’s ok if your lines are not perfect because you may not be used to draw certain lines and curves yet as you are beginner so when you start your sketch don’t look for perfect lines and don’t focus on full big figure instead break the big figure into simple shapes  yes most of the artist use same tricks .so sketch a simple shapes represent the overall structure the more simple it is  the better it will be so pay close attention and separate with general shapes, size and angle make a rough construction outline shape like square, round, rectangle etc whichever shape your drawing figure is in and then start sketching using those lines will get you the perfect figure and finally you can erase the construction lines once you are done with full figure.

Drawing Materials:

Pencil  – Use good dark graphite pencils I use DOMS Zoom ultimate dark pencil for drawing and Artline 8B pencils for shading and dark outline because I like them a lot I feel it perfect pencil for drawing . You choose whichever you feel comfortable to use.

Colors – I use Faber castell plastic crayons and color pencils

Paper – Normal A4 Sheets

Eraser – Normal white drawing eraser and for detained effects mono eraser.

Blending Stump – Blending stumps and ear buds for shading
