How to draw Mother and Daughter in track

Step 1 :

Draw 2 circles using a coin or whichever object you find make a small circle or u can use your free hand curve as shown in above picture and draw a straight vertical line in the center of both the circles drawn. Draw another small circle in the top end of the big circle you have drawn.

                                   

Step 2:

Start with the daughter’s hair outline lines and make a L shape curve for neck part then proceed with the curved line from the sleeve and join both the ends hence done with daughters frock.

Step 3:

Follow step 2 procedure and once done start with hand drawing for that draw 2 parallel L shape lines and you should concentrate on finger part as most of the people struggle to do and won’t get perfect finger shapes. Please go through my basic drawing tutorial section to get perfect structure.

Step 4:

Draw 2 straight rough lines and on top of that you can draw the leg curves. Draw thigh with little slanting line and a slight curve in the knee part and again a curvy line towards the feet and follow the same procedure and pattern for both the legs as shown in the above figure.

Step 5 :

For track illusion draw 2 straight lines meet at 1 point looks like v shape line and it will look like mom and daughter walking on the track.

Step 6:

Once done with the track lines draw a parallel horizontal line as shown in above figure.

Step 7:

Here I have done coloring so if you want you can do coloring else you can stop with pencil sketch alone whichever way you like .so for coloring I used red for both mom and daughter dress and peach for skin color and for hair I used 3 brown shade colors and shading techniques you have to start shade from the root of the hair and end in the mid level and shade in opposite side till the mid so you will get the perfect shiny hair look.

Step 8:

You can shade the track with dark brown color and grass strokes with light and dark green colors. And at  the end use light brown to shade the borders of hand, neck and legs to get perfect skin color shades.
