How to draw a butterfly in hand 

Step 1:

Will start with the index finger first by drawing an L shape line and draw a parallel line to the line drawn with three cuts for finger lines and join this line with the thumb finger by drawing v shape in between them and you can draw the nail for the thumb as it will be in visible side and not for index finger.

Step 2:

Draw a perpendicular line in the mid of index finger and continue to draw 3 parallel lines to the perpendicular line drawn for rest of the fingers with 3 cuts in the lines.

Step 3:

Let’s draw the right hand following the same procedure only the direction varies.

Step 4:

Will draw the butterfly structure as it is sitting in the mid finger. Imagine you are drawing a pizza shape to get butterfly wings and inner part you can draw your own shades whichever way you like to do.

Step 5:

Here I have shaded the butterfly wings with black sketch and inside I have done pencil hatching with some dots.

Step 6:

Let’s start shading the fingers so find out the dark spot area where you have to do the shading darker and where you have to do lighter. From the picture above you can see where I have shaded and highlighted.
