 How to draw best friends holding hands

Step 1 :

Initially start to draw a curvy outline of the hair for both the friends and then will proceed to draw the hands as two friends holding the baby fingers and rest all fingers as folded as shown in the above picture.

Step 2 :

Follow the same procedure for the other friend hand also only the direction of the fingers varies.

Step 3 :

Lest start to draw the hand part by drawing two parallel lines and slight slanting near elbow line.

Step 4 :

Once done with the hand structure will start to partition the hair for both the figures the partition must be drawn in the shape of the hair you required either in curvy or straight. For curvy draw the lines layer by layer and for straight hair you can just draw parallel lines and do the hair strokes. So here I have drawn curvy hair so I have drawn layers.

Step 5:

Lets draw the bangles on both the hands by drawing a c shape curve.

Step 6:

Let’s start the hair shading by just giving hair strokes start the strokes from both the ends of the layer drawn with thin lines using sharp pencil and do strokes for each and every layer click here for more hair stroke details. Do the same for both the figures.

      

Step 7:

Final step is shading and smudging so use pencil to do light shading wherever required either dark shade or light shade and I used blending stump to do smudging you can use either blending stump or ear buds.
